In 1990, he returned to Va. to serve at St. Peter’s Parish Church in New Kent, then served in Lynchburg at St. Paul’s in 1997 until his retirement in 2009.  Since retirement he has worked in various capacities including filling for Paul Johnson’s sabbatical at Christ Church, Glen Allen.

Doug grew up on the Northern Neck, went to VA. Tech, served in the Army, and then attended Virginia Seminary where he obtained his Doctorate of Ministry.  He is now a senior trainer with Church Development Institute and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Virginia Seminary.
